Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was a former candidate for Senate in the United States, and a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in May 2021 to launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is a co-host with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on guest appearances on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) and CNN (CNBC). In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is able to attribute her new fascination with politics due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw the effects it had on people in her country and was moved to see the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 15, 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
